Seeds of STEM

Pre-K STEM/engineering curriculum

A collaboration between the Worcester Head Start program,

WPI, and College of the Holy Cross.

Seeds of STEM is a 5-year research project, funded by the Institute of Education Sciences (IES).

It focuses on the development and testing of a Pre-K STEM/engineering curriculum that teaches young children (and their teachers) the process of problem solving. The project is a collaboration between the Worcester Head Start program, WPI, and College of  the Holy Cross.

The purpose of the project is to develop a much needed STEM curriculum for Head Start classrooms, through collaboration between Head Start teachers and higher-education experts.
